The Pilgrim's Pots and Pans

In observance of the official mourning period for the late Pope John Paul II, I shall not be posting new entries here until after 11 April. The novemdiales, the traditional nine-days of mourning and prayer are observed with a Mass for each day. The word is derived from the Latin novem meaning ‘nine’.
